The Walking Dead 3-12: Away With You!
…ng of survivalists. Likes: Michonne, Carl, and Rick staring blankly at the zombies attacking their car. Zombies are not longer something to be afraid of, just a daily annoyance. Carl being a man. Michonne’s groan at having to kill a zombie, like she was given a chore to do. Lennie James’ tortured performance as Morgan. Rick’s small glimmer of hope. Michonne admitting to Rick that she talked to her dead boyfriend for a while. “It happens.” Last wee… Continue reading

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 5 Review!
…een him and sex, he climbs up the outside of the barn. He finds a group of zombies locked in the barn. Maggie rushes out there too late and says, “You weren’t suppose to see that.” Likes: Daryl got a lot more screen time. George A. Romero’s Survival of the Dead (2009)
…e, as was the CGI; however, it was funny, contained a different outlook on zombies, and showed plenty of zombie killin’. It wasn’t overly exciting or scary, but it wasn’t boring either. Time Until First Headshot: ~ 30 seconds Baddies: Zombies…or people. Whose side are you on? Best Line: “Boats, they’re like women, there isn’t one I can’t fire up.” Best Kill: Human vs. zombie, the human grabs a fire extinguisher and lets the zombie chomp down on th… Continue reading

Mini Review: Edges of Darkness (2009)
…ocalypse. Now, based on that, you might be thinking that the film is about zombies, but it isn’t. Ha-ha! I made that mistake too. It only takes place during a zombie apocalypse, but the stories are about other things entirely. One story is about a possessed computer that looses its power source because of the apocalypse and (Spoiler Alert) ends up using the owners as new biological batteries. Another story is about the Antichrist and the third sto… Continue reading

…layer (with gun tangent) johnny_williams: do horror heroine’s really fight zombies, vamps, etc…or do they just run from them? Skookum86: Buffy NEVER ran! johnny_williams: you are correct. my mind was limited to films….not tv…so in that sense, Faith never ran either. …m not a zombie purist or anything, I accept all zombies as they come (film zombies of course, for real zombies I have a sword by my bed).” Site: Film Gurl Post: Zombieland by Rachel: “Ok, I have to admit – I don’t consider myself much of a zombie fan.
