Rambo III
…get in the way of any action. That stupid kid gets booted to the curb and Rambo takes over the wheel. Rambo is, after all, a killing machine. Rambo III also contains another key characteristic of the 80’s- cheesy end credits music. In this case it’s “He ain’t heavy…he’s my brother.” Enough said. However, all of these characteristics go together to make a great action flick. Amount of time before Rambo related action: ~ 4 minutes Guys getting kill… Continue reading

Rambo: First Blood Part 2
…ussians. He meets up with a lone Vietnamese soldier. The soldier shoots at Rambo repeatedly, and Rambo never even flinches. He stands there and stares at the soldier. The soldier runs out of ammo, looks at Rambo, and runs the other direction. Rambo ever so slowly raises his bow and takes aim. He shoots the soldier with one of his exploding arrow heads, causing him to explode. Nothing was left of this guy, not even his boots. Best line: Rambo gets… Continue reading

First Blood (Rambo I)
…vies, which are a bit confusing yet equally awesome, are as follows: First Blood, Rambo First Blood Part II, Rambo III, Rambo. Yeah, the fourth movie is just friggin’ ‘Rambo’. Rambo: FB pt I is good in its own ways, yet, a completely different movie from the rest of them. It forms the foundation for the rest of the Rambo movies to build upon. The action in this first flick is not anything up to snuff with the action standard set by the other Rambo… Continue reading
Rambo (2008), a.k.a. John Rambo, the fourth one
…ldiers stumble on the corpses of a few zillion of their dead comrades that Rambo took out the night before), Rambo sets up a mine on the bomb. He leads them there by tying a piece of the American woman’s shirt to the mine and then covering the mine with leaves. The Burmese dogs lead them to the shirt, confused the military picks it up and sets off the mine, also setting off the bomb. …ut he has a daughter and battling human traffickers, or it being more like Rambo: First Blood; however, Sylvester Stallone himself explained what the plot was to be about. Ain’t It Cool News received a voice mail from Stallone setting straight all the rumors. Rambo V: The Savage Hunt is supposed to be Rambo battling a “beast” that is super intelligent and a killing machine. Who better to stop this thing than Rambo? So he is called in with a group… Continue reading
Coming Attractions: Rambo V
…t of the cast; I know of at least one dude that’s definitely gonna be in a Rambo movie). As of right now it’s been speculated that the plot will center around Rambo finding out he has a daughter, only to have her get kidnapped immediately, and big R will have to go on a mission to save her. With such a classic, archetypal action movie plot to draw from, maybe this one will be as crazy as Rambo (IV)! Here’s hoping! This is the Action Flick Chick, a… Continue reading

All Request December: Ninja Assassin (2009)
…movie. Well, that’s just silly. I would describe it as being a TSUNAMI of blood! You could have pinched someone and a volcano of blood would have erupted. Now that may sound ridiculous, and it is, but in a really good way. It was just the right amount of sweetness. It would make you go “ooooooooohh” and grip your body part that just got sliced off on screen and then laugh. Great fun!!! I was discussing the movie before it started and decided to e… Continue reading
