The Walking Dead 3-12: Away With You!
…any screen time this week. Still, “Clear” was a much better episode of The Walking Dead than last week’s slow outing, with a little bit of action mixed in with a lot of spookiness and a buttload of emotions. But first, let’s check in with Dale. Action Chick, someone once told me that you can’t eat quail for more than thirty days. He didn’t say what would happen if you tried, only it couldn’t be done. Well, I’m happy to say that I’m on day thirty… Continue reading
The Walking Dead Season 3 Premiere! “Seed”
…ant Woo and later talks about water. Three lines for T-Dog in one episode? Walking Dead, you spoil us. Everyone moves inside the prison and claims different rooms for their own. Carl even tries to bunk with Hershel’s younger daughter Betsy, but loses his nerve under the watchful gaze of Daddy Hershel. Meanwhile, Andrea (remember her?) is sick, and being taken care of by zombie-fighting badass extraordinaire Michonne, who goes around with her katan… Continue reading

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 10 Review!
…What’s that about? Think maybe that the same thing that’s making all these dead folks get up and come back to life is what made that song come back to life in my head? Thanks, Dale. Now, here’s what happened this week: Rick, Shane, and Randall’s Story Rick and Shane take the new kid (Randall) they saved in the previous episode out to an abandoned prison to leave him there…most likely to die even though they saved him. That’s kind of sending mixed… Continue reading

The 90 minute season 2 premiere of The Walking Dead will air Sunday, October 16 at 9pm ET on AMC. I can’t wait for more zombie action! The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 5 Review!
…It’s interesting how Daryl, who is becoming the favorite character of many Walking Dead fans including yours truly, isn’t even in the comic. And right now he’s the hard redneck with a soft and chew center is the only one doing anything. Things have been moving so slow this season! The search for Sophia has gone on long enough. Find her or kill her already! If this goes on the entire season I’m going to be furious. The episode did advance plot a li… Continue reading

The Walking Dead 3-13: Sock on the Doorknob
…Rick’s Rebels, and the dam will be bursting soon enough. If you check The Walking Dead’s track record regarding its season finales, you’ll know that one of the main characters is going to die, and that scares the poopy-pants right off of me. I don’t want any of Rick’s Rebels to die! Not even Beth, Carol, or Merle… well, okay. Maybe Merle. But, before we get to the recap, let’s check in with Dale. Dale, you all right, man? Haven’t seen you in a fe… Continue reading

The Walking Dead Midseason Finale Review!
…about the same thing for an hour and we could make our own episode of The Walking Dead. So why do I keep coming back? There have been some small character turns that are mighty intriguing and every now and then a zombie shows up. It’s just enough of a teaser to make you see the potential of the show. The mid-season finale, in particular, was a major zombie-tease. The whole episode was all talking up until the end where it whipped out a fantastic… Continue reading

The Walking Dead: Robert Kirkman Discusses Andrea’s Decision
…ow much it’s going to help people. It’s that human struggle that makes The Walking Dead special; the fact that there is a clear distinction between killing a zombie and killing a human. It’s something that would weigh on someone. She is struggling to make a plan. Going to the prison — she’s trying to come up with a peaceful solution. She doesn’t think that killing him is the answer. Or maybe she does, and just can’t bring herself to do it. That’s… Continue reading
