My Bloody Valentine 3-D (2009)
…el in her mouth so hard that it went all the way through her head. The top half slid into the shovel while the rest of the body fell to the floor. It was awesome, but a little tid bit unrealistic. Best Explosion: The Miner is approaching our heroine, with a pickaxe in hand and menace in his heart. The heroine fires the final shot out of her gun, launching the bullet not only through the miner, but into a series of explosive tanks, which blow up li… Continue reading

The Walking Dead 3-8: Bad Decision, Thy Name Is Andrea
…much I’ve loved season three of AMC’s The Walking Dead so far. This first half has been fast paced, brutal, interesting, with an off-the-charts ratio of zombies-to-people! This week’s episode, “Made to Suffer” was the mid-season finale, and was just plain amazing. New characters are introduced, old characters are reunited, and more than a few bodies stack up. It’s going to be torture waiting until February to see what happens next. Before we get… Continue reading

Spidey’s New Webs (and Old Crush), and to Hulk or Not to Hulk?
…se the problem is it’s a very popular character, but it’s not a superhero. Half of it’s a superhero, half of it’s a werewolf. And you can’t structure it like a superhero movie, you can’t light it like a superhero movie. How do you develop that?” “It would be extremely difficult. The one thing you would have in your favor would be Mark Ruffalo. But, right now I don’t know if they have plans to do that or not, because he works so well as part of a g… Continue reading
