The Walking Dead Season 3 Premiere! “Seed”
…ant Woo and later talks about water. Three lines for T-Dog in one episode? Walking Dead, you spoil us. Everyone moves inside the prison and claims different rooms for their own. Carl even tries to bunk with Hershel’s younger daughter Betsy, but loses his nerve under the watchful gaze of Daddy Hershel. Meanwhile, Andrea (remember her?) is sick, and being taken care of by zombie-fighting badass extraordinaire Michonne, who goes around with her katan… Continue reading

The Walking Dead 3-15: Red Dixon Redemption
…nally seeing him warm up a bit and then BAM! He’s gone. It’s just like The Walking Dead to show a character’s good side and really make you feel for them, and then kill them off! Rick and Daryl debate what to do about Michonne. Daryl went after Merle to stop him, and finds a zombified brother eating some fresh meat. He’s had to face the idea of losing his brother before, but to find him there, zombified and soulless, is too much for this hardened… Continue reading

Walking Dead Season 4: Less Crazy, More Character
…a lot of characters, it becomes challenging. Watching the first season of Walking Dead and seeing how grounded it was, that’s really important to all of us. Andy Lincoln and I spent a lot of time going through the scripts and making sure we feel that they’re grounded. Because that’s what keeps our audience coming back. The walkers and the gore and the action and stuff, that’s fun, that’s the popcorn part of it. But if you don’t have characters th… Continue reading

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 5 Review!
“Chupacabra,” episode 5 of AMC The Walking Dead season 2, would have been terrible had it not been for Daryl’s adventure. It’s interesting how Daryl, who is becoming the favorite character of many Walking Dead fans including yours truly, isn’t even in the comic. And right now he’s the hard redneck with a soft and chew center is the only one doing anything. Things have been moving so slow this season! The search for Sophia has gone on long enough…. The Walking Dead Midseason Finale Review!
There have now been more episodes of season 2 of AMC’s The Walking Dead than all of season 1, and yet it feels like a lot less has gotten accomplished. This week’s episode was the mid season finale, and sadly, we won’t be seeing any new episodes until February. Even though the first half of the season has been so slow a sloth would have lapped it on the track, I still find myself coming back for more. Although, I’m not sure how much more I can ta… Continue reading

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 6 Review!
For those keeping count, the newest episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead is episode 6 of searching for Sophia. It is also the sixth episode of the season. Hmmm. To be fair though, this episode, “Secrets,” was not solely focused on searching for the freakin’ kid. Actually, a couple of things actually happened plot-wise. A couple of secrets (gasp, that’s the name of the episode!) came out so that the people who really need to know about them are all c… Continue reading
