Independent Short Film: SciFi Summer Girl’s Off Day
SciFi Summer Girl’s Off Day is an amusing short action film (and by short, I mean 6 minutes). It reveals the actual truth that people tend to overlook: A heroine never gets a day off. Trust me, I would know :)! There’s always some kind of evil force hanging around trying to kill, kidnap, or take over something. In this short film, SciFi Summer Girl comes to the rescue against some alien mercenaries trying to kidnap people at a park. It definitely… Continue reading

Spoiler Free SXSW Review: Kick-Ass (2010)
…at job; however, Chloe Moretz stole the show. She is absolutely amazing as Hit-Girl. She kicks more ass and is tougher than any other person in Kick-Ass. Sorry boys, but you all just got out done by a 12-year-old. The writers didn’t hold back when it came to her. She cursed, she sliced and diced baddies, and she received her share of beatings. There is some controversy going on about this character with some parent groups. Don’t watch it if you’re… Continue reading

…Jacques Offenbach, the can-can. My fight scene is me and a bunch of chorus girls in Montmartre owning baddies’ shit. David Lucio @davidlucio: Honestly? It should be in slow motion, with “Little Talks” by Of Monsters & Men. It would be gritty, bloody, and emotional. Der Rote Schadel @OverlordOf_Evil: Eye of the Tiger #OldSchoolIsStillIntimidating I’d have gone with #MarsBringerofWar by @GustavHolst, but most of the people I fight aren’t that classy… Continue reading
