sister_b: @actionchick “Admit it. Even YOU’VE thought about it.” True. We <3 vigilantes bc they satisfy our yearning for black/white justice. #BDS2
AngelaKSp: @actionchick Best vigilante-The Crow. “Guess it’s not a good day to be a bad guy.” Hell yeah! Best vigilante-Munich. “There is no peace at the end of this.” How true…bad just keeps on coming.
undead_lady: @actionchick Vigilante movies can be entertaining but I’m also concerned about all the crazies out there who’d get ideas watching them.#BDS2
AurRhudd: @actionchick Several fictional vigilantes make the world feel safer – Batman and the McManus Brothers fall amongst these. In reality, you might not want two random guys running around taking the law into their own hands, but in the story itself, it works perfectly. Other vigilante films that make you wish the guys were real: Dirty Harry, V for Vendetta, and Watchmen.
Kimberline1: @actionchick would The Crow be considered vigalante my opinion its a semi love story Brandon Lee’s best performance No other Crow movie come close to it . i love the story line he comes back from dead 2 take revenge on people that killed the love of his life gr8 movie
danport: @actionchick A good vigilante movie is kicking ass, busting skulls, snapping limbs, and spraying blood, all to make the world a better place
ChrisPumphrey1: @actionchick The baddies-I actually wished they would have killed some rapists or some child molesters. But I think killing Mobsters is good
saidthejoker: @actionchick Vigilantes are the best. The Watchmen, Batman, the BDS. Government is always corrupt. Need to take it into your hands. #BDS2
Trihaly: As lng as vigilantes have rope, a twin & watch out for cats&guns, I say let’s do some gratuitus violance! @actionchick #BDS2
BadEvan: @actionchick Best Vigilante Film: Death Wish 3. It’s Home Alone + New Jack City. Hit’s him so hard it left his teeth in the board! #BDS2
brianp27: @actionchick #BDS2 vigilante movies are totally right – they make the little guys think they can do something -and the best of course is BDS
carrharr: @actionchick F-ing Boondock Saints deserves the f-ing best f-ed up vigilante movie award for it’s f-ing creative use of the f-bomb.
WheelPig: Vigilante movies – brings out the best in most of us cuz we want to be the ones in the movie bringing justice!! @actionchick #BDS2
CASEYinRealLife: @actionchick Good = Man On Fire, which ironically used the line “Revenge is a meal best served cold”, yet so hot Denzel had to wear shades.
CLNFRQHR: @actionchick Batman & Robin is probably a good shout for the worst. I almost turned vigilante myself cos of that.
TONYBINATL: @actionchick Probably most unique vigilante film is Gran Torino since the resolution was Clint’s non violent sacrifice.
CLNFRQHR: @actionchick ‘One day a real rain is gonna come and wash all the scum from the streets’. Taxi Driver. Easily the best vigilante film.
TaySimpy8: The Boondock saints are the best vigilantes ever one they are freaking SEXY! they are Irish and they are doing it for god cant beat it #BDS2
epichaila: @actionchick Inglourious Basterds: Because nothing says taking the law into your own hands like scalping a motherfucker or scarring 4 life
tapnchica: @actionchick Worst vigilante movie would be Kill Bill. The movie was ok, but I like plot more than random blood sprays and flying body parts
eternalamour: @actionchick I think Vigilante Movies are the true Robin Hood stories. I love them. Boondock Saints happens to be my favorite of them #BDS2
jimmwalker: @actionchick Best has to be “Man on Fire”, Denzel kicks a$$, Chris Walken helps out, and the ending nearly brings a tear to your eye.
bltjesus: @actionchick Boondock Saints introduced us to some amazing characters, creative storytelling, & a really different kind of vigilante movie.
GunnarWuher: @actionchick #BDS2 Shaun(from SotD) < The Boondock Saints because one does not bring a cricket bat to a gun fight. Sorry Shaun. GunnarWuher: @actionchick #BDS2 To do a Viglante movie right you need one thing about the main characters: Sexy ass Goatees.
angfilm: @actionchick The problem with being a vigilante is that either you die or everyone else does. Vigilante movies? Thus predictable in death.
Blake_Blount: @actionchick Boondock Saints is the best vigilante movie its got it all killin bad guys a responsibility from above and Willem Dafoe in drag
cranialspasm: @actionchick Best? Worst? Right? Wrong? Pfft. It’s all about the way of the gun. I have the gun, so I say we go my way. #BDS2
Chad_Monroe: @actionchick What’s ‘best’ is different for a law, a leader, a majority, one or all – but what’s right is just right. So they do it. #BDS2
AJavaJunky: @actionchick Best vigilantes Boondock saints, fighting for God not anything else, they don’t have super powers or even high tech gadget’s.
KanUDig_It: @actionchick Blade is my favorite vigilante movie! (just thought of it) He takes on the vampire establishment outside the law.
Kimberline1: @actionchick worst Death Wish Charles Bronson going around beating up and killing bad guys that are between half his age to 1/4 of his age. best vigilante movie is BDS cause i have my stupid f*cking rope
reallykarra: @actionflick best AND worst: Death Wish series. Why do people keep marrying this dude? #BDS2
schmoe32: @actionchick #BDS2 best vigilante movie is 1rst boondock, worst is 2nd Punisher, terrible. Death Wish &Dirty Harry movies are classics!
CASEYinRealLife: @actionchick Worst, and it’s not even out yet. Kill Bill 3. It should be called Killed Bill if there’s no David Carradine! #BDS2
GeminiTonya: @actionchick #BDS2 Vigilantebest- BDS- where else can u get an education in latin and learn how to equally offend every ethnic group? how PC
jwiemer: @actionchick #BDS2 Batman has money, The Bride has swords, and The Boondock Saints have guns. Put them together and: god save us all
Porkins: Harry Brown? Charles Bronson he is not!
swiv: for Vigilante – gotta go “Shoot em Up” – the best gun slinging movie out there

  1. KristopherR says:

Ahh. Harry Brown! I haven’t heard of the film until now. Just the sight of Caine packing heat and still being bad-ass at his age is amazing.

  2. infotangent says:

Who doesn’t love the cathartic idea of exacting revenge on someone (an individual or a group of thugs) who rule outside the boundaries of the legal system? It’s every superhero fantasy writ large with bullets instead of ray guns and street smarts instead of Spidey sense! I’ve heard good stuff about Harry Brown, hope to see it soon.

  3. Alex says:

    Batman is definitely the best.
