This week’s episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead “Triggerfinger” has kicked everything up a notch! It’s a great episode filled with excitement, tension, and zombies. Plenty of zombies. Tell us about it, Dale.
Thanks Dale. Now, for the episode recap.
Here’s What Happened:
Lori wakes up in her crashed car and barely has a scratch on her. She does get attacked by and ends up killing two zombies. Finally, she does something worth talking about! Back at the farm, the group finally realizes she’s gone (Which took them all day. Shows how much she contributes) So Shane goes off by himself to search for Lori- who went off by herself to search for Rick who went off with Glenn to search for Hershel. Will this line of stupidity ever end? Next T-dog and Carl are going to have to look for Shane.
One person who won’t be looking for anyone is friggin’ Daryl, whose only contribution in this episode was to yell at Carol about what an unfit mother she was to Sophia. Elsewhere, Shane finds Lori and lies to her saying Rick and the others are already back so she’ll chill the eff out and go home. When they get back to the farm and when Lori finds out Shane lied, she gets mad and he ends up outing her pregnancy in front of everyone by saying he had to get her back to the farm to protect the baby. Later Shane tells Lori he loves her, and Lori says it was all a mistake. OUCH! Why don’t you just spit in his mouth and bite his scrotum while you’re at it?
Rick, Glenn, and Hershel get involved in a shootout at the bar with some friends of the two guys they killed. Hershel shoots one guy then watches as he gets eaten by zombies. Way to finally not be useless, Hershel. Another “bad guy” jumps off a roof top trying to retreat but impales his leg on a spiked fence post. The three of them start to amputate the leg but are overrun with zombies so Rick just rips the leg up off the fence post. They blind fold the kid and bring him to the farm, where Hershel repairs the leg as best he can.
Lori finds tells Rick that Shane thinks she and the baby are his and Rick needs to do something about it.
Oh and remember that no name character that went into shock in the last episode? She’s still in shock and is forgotten about until the end when they show her briefly while characters talk around her.
Likes:
- Double action in the opening- gunfight at the OK pub and Lori escaping the zombie
- Zombie’s flesh coming off as it tries to squeeze through the windshield after Lori. Very gross, but very cool.
- The zombie horde moving in to town
Dislikes
- Dale being a gossip, as always
- Whats-her-name being in a coma. If we don’t know her name, we don’t care.
- Week two of Daryl being a jerk and not being his usual woodchuck skull having self.
- Lori not giving Shane even an inch of sympathy. You know, if that guy has a meltdown and starts killing people it’s kind of your fault, woman.
For the purposes of this post I will name what’s-her-name Cat (short for ‘catatonic’).
They’re building her up for something. What I cannot yet tell. If they do anything less than corpsifying her and her zom-nomming on Herschel, I will be disappointed. In the timeline of the show, this is only one or two days after Barnageddon. Didn’t Cat go to her freshly re-dead mother, only to experience the reciprocation of a zombie’s loving embrace in trying to eat her face off? What if Cat got scratched or nibbled on and we’re seeing the beginning of the zombification process? That could be a fun treatment.
In all likelihood, Cat’ll be fine and stop acting like a bitch in the coming episodes, after which point she will fade back into obscurity.
Could Daryl and Carol get it on already? Its not like she is not used to having a man scream at her.
Do you watch that talking dead show on AMC that runs following the episode?

“Why don’t you just spit in his mouth and bite his scrotum while you’re at it?”
They’re saving that for the season finale. It’ll undoubtedly result in the best Dale-face ever.
Best part about that #DaleFace, he made it when Lori said “we never gave Carl ‘the talk'” and they looked at Dale. He was all “whoaaa, don’t ask me! I aintcha Daddy! 0_0 “
Can I recently say what a relief to seek out someone who really knows what theyre discussing more than the internet. You surely learn how to bring a concern to light and produce it critical. The most effective approach to ought to look at this and fully grasp this side from the story. I cant feel youre less popular because you totally contain the gift.
