Hanna (2011)
…Marissa! Best Kill: Hanna pretends to cry and be upset about being in the CIA facility. She climbs into the lap of the female agent who is pretending to be Marissa and hugs her. Hanna then snaps the agent’s neck like a twig. She goes on to kill the next three or so men who come in after her. Awesome! Also, the lesson to be learned here is to never trust a crying child. Best Explosion: There weren’t any. Boo! Action Rating: 1 ½ Teenage Girls Rampa… Continue reading

This Means War (Guest Review)
…ht like it. Not to spoil any plot points but here’s the basic rundown: Two CIA agents find out they’re dating the same woman and opt to compete for her affections – complete with a “gentlemen’s agreement” – letting her decide who she wants to be with. Pine’s philandering “FDR” and Hardy’s earnest “Tuck” vie for attention from Witherspoon’s “Lauren” while sort of attempting to track “Heinrich”, their current target. It’s fairly easy to figure out,… Continue reading

Mini Review: Game of Death (2010)
…real game, and one you might want to watch. Starring Wesley Snipes as CIA Agent Marcus, this film keeps the action steady throughout the film. Marcus infiltrates an arms dealer operation and becomes the head guy’s (Robert Davi) bodyguard. Right when the CIA is about to bust the arms dealers, a couple of them decide to take matters into their own hands by trying to kill everyone and steal all the arms dealers’ money. Marcus is caught in the middle… Continue reading

Push (2009)
…e does what is suggested to him…only his gun is fully loaded and blows the agent’s head off. Did I mention that the main bad guy is a pusher? Yep, everything the agent remembered was a total lie. Sucks, don’t it! Best Explosion: A bleeder is doing what he does best in a restaurant that is filled with fish tanks and what started out to be live fish. Well, the fish soon explode in the tanks. You just see big bursts of blood in each fish tank right b… Continue reading

My Name is Bruce (2008)
…s is just a birthday stunt from his agent. That’s really thoughtful of his agent. I wish I had an agent that would go around resurrecting various revenge seeking gods and then point them in my direction. You just don’t find good agents like that anymore. These birthday deity shenanigans turn out to be true! Gasp! It isn’t a trick at all and Campbell finds out the hard way. So, a guy, Jeff (Taylor Sharpe), unknowingly releases Guan-di, a Chinese Go… Continue reading
