The Lovely Bones Spoiler

Now, when I hear that Peter Jackson is behind a film, I expect it to be chock-FULL of orcs getting decapitated and elves and dwarves counting baddies they’ve killed. The Lovely Bones is, unfortunately, nothing like that and is certainly not something that I’d want to watch, so I figured I’d save you guys some time and a few dollars and spoil the heck out of it.

Spoiler alert!

The creepy neighbor, George Harvey, gets away with having murdered the daughter, Susie Salmon, not to mention the murders of a bunch of other people. The film shows him die, eventually, but it’s because he gets buried under some snow when he’s older, not because police catch him and blast him to pieces or anything awesome like that. Booo!

I know this isn't from The Lovely Bones, but The Two Towers is way more awesome so I thought I'd show it anyway.

Directed by Peter Jackson.
Written by Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens.
Starring Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli, Saoirse Ronan.

i thought it was an awesome movie. I rather enjoyed the story, and development. I don’t think it was billed as an action movie.
