Interview – James Hampton (The Longest Yard, Teen Wolf, Sling Blade, Fire from Below)

While working on her story about the advantages and disadvantages of small versus large fan conventions, the Chick sat down to speak with James at Dallas Comic-Con. He turned out to be a very friendly man with a great laugh.
His credits include F Troop, The Doris Day Show, The Longest Yard, W. W. and the Dixie Dance Kings, the Teen Wolf franchise, Sling Blade, and now the SyFy original movie Fire from Below which stars Kevin Sorbo. Continue reading

Interview with Boondock Saints II Actors Julie Benz and Clifton Collins, Jr.

During San Diego Comic Con 2009, I was privileged enough to interview Julie Benz and Clifton Collins, Jr., from The Boondock Saints II: All Saint’s Day. It was a round table interview, which means it was a group interview. There were several other people there with me asking questions. I did get an extra special treat while there, though, because I was just expecting to see Julie and Clifton, but when our interview was over, Sean Patrick Flannery and Norman Reedus sat down right in front of me. Previously on “Action Flick Chick: The Legendary Journeys”…
I said I get to meet the most interesting people,” and it’s absolutely true. What’s really gratifying is when I get to introduce some of these interesting people to each other.
How Rob Rector of Natsukashi met Cindy Morgan of Caddyshack and Tron…. Continue reading

Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (2009) – With Wrong Turn 4 Bonus Plot

Boobs within 4 minutes, action within 4 minutes, lots of blood and guts, and all sorts of diabolical traps…now this is my kind of movie! Wrong Turn 3 has all of the aforementioned items plus creative kills, an insane plot, mediocre acting, and a complete lack of common sense amongst all of the characters…what could be more fun?
