Walking Dead 3-6: Prank Calls with Rick and Hershel
…arl, and Cool Guy go to clear out another section of the prison and find a zombie with Carol’s knife stuck in its neck. Daryl gets mad at the thought of Carol being gone and opens a door to kill what he thinks is a zombie and finds that Carol is alive! Wahoo! I was pretty sure she’d survived, but for a second I was worried we’d have another Sophie on our hands. Daryl carries her out, Officer and a Gentleman-style, and takes her back to the group…. The Walking Dead 3-5: Weirdbury, Population Andrea
…Carol is still missing. So brutal! Back to Red Rick, he has a good old fashioned sit-down against a wall, still dazed, and hears a phone ringing. A phone? Yeah, a phone. Rick answers with a raspy “Hello?” and the episode fades to black. Likes: Michonne’s sword practice on the zombie horde. M’s zombie curb stomp Daryl’s greeting to a possum: “Hello, dinner.” Michonne having enough sense to get the hell out of Woodbury. Technically, it never showed… Continue reading

The Walking Dead 3-2: Big Boy Pants for Everyone!
…doesn’t listen to Rick and opens double doors, letting in a huge horde of zombies. During the chaos of the attack he pushes a zombie on top of Rick, which would have gotten him bitten were it not for Daryl’s rescue. So, now we’ve established that the ring leader is defiant, cold-hearted, and willing to do what it takes to stay in charge. This guy sounds like a real problem… if only Rick would man up and take him down now so he wouldn’t come back… Continue reading

Quarantine (2008)
…much of people panicking and talking about what’s happening and not enough zombie action. It’s not until the end that we actually get some really tasty zombie action. However, I would like to give props to the actors for portraying the whole situation so accurately. Angela (Jennifer Carpenter) freaks out so much and so convincingly that it almost makes you run out of the theatre, pushing over any kids or old ladies that get in your way because you… Continue reading

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 10 Review!
…rows a wrench at Rick and breaks a window behind him, letting out a ton of zombies. Shane ends up trapped in a bus, desperately holding off the zombies, and Rick runs off with Randall the new kid, leaving Shane to die. Wait, naw, Rick’s just kiddin’ y’all. In the end, Rick tells Shane if he wants to stay with them he has to forget about Lori and stop a… Continue reading
Being Human 3-10: Hungry Hungry Stevie
…e past few years, but it’s all becoming a normal part of his day: killed a zombie, check. Buried the body of another zombie, check. Walked in on vampires trying to eat a werewolf, check check (we’ll get to that in a second). Pilgrim Aidan doesn’t dig going to church. No one in the show pointed out that when Stevie’s ghost appeared, Josh couldn’t see him! Does this mean he won’t turn into a werewolf after all? Maybe he’s immune to it, seeing as how… Continue reading
