Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)
…effects. The sound effects were often hilariously ripped right from video games, and the music was so quirky, high-energy, and sweet that I already bought the soundtrack. This film and The Expendables are my two favorite films of the year! Now anyone who doesn’t play video games or is older/is a poot really might not get Scott Pilgrim. But if you’re a gamer, young, or awesome go forth and enjoy the nerdy insanity! Beware minor spoilers below! Tim… Continue reading

May Mega Mayhem: Batman!
…ugh, where it’s way harder for me to go back and play old, simple Nintendo games than it is to pick up new, complicated Xbox games. I’ve gotten used to the extra controls, the extra options, the extra weapons, the extra save points, and the extra movement. I find myself trying to hit RB or X and it’s just not there. It does pose a great challenge though. 31 Minutes of Play: I made it through the first level only to get donkey punched by the second… Continue reading
Choose Your Own Left 4 Dead Adventure!
…It’s no secret that Left 4 Dead is one of my favorite games. I mean, shooting zombies just never gets old. The Game Station crew put together a delightful choose your own adventure video based on popular video games such as Left 4 Dead. The zombie outbreak has begun, and you can decide how it ends. Will you survive the zombie apocalypse? I did. 😉 My review of Left 4 Dead 2! This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!… Continue reading
From Tron to Natsukashi: The Chick Hooks Her Friends Up
…ects masterpiece Tron changed filmmaking and spawned books, comics, arcade games, video games, and finally a sequel, Tron Legacy, scheduled for release in December, 2010. Of the original film’s three lead performers, both of the male heroes were returning but the heroine Cindy played was not. Doing Natsukashi with Rob was great, I look forward to doing it again sometime, Cindy was such a dear, and I’ve stayed in touch with them both. I know too ma… Continue reading

What draws the line? kristenmchugh22: @rvgenaille: I think it’s meant as a test of milieu, and not in a privileged way, but. . . yeah.
