Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987): A Bonkers B-Movie Bonanza
…eazeball action auteur Andy Sidaris brings us what may be his magnum opus: Hard Ticket to Hawaii. Part of his Triple B series (“bullets, bombs, and babes”), Hard Ticket to Hawaii tells the story of Donna (Donna Speir) and Taryn (Hope-Marie Carlton), pilots and DEA agents who’re transporting some tourists to another island along with a hyper-snake that has been “contaminated.” (What is a hyper-snake, and how has it been contaminated? Who knows!) Wh… Continue reading

San Diego Comic Con 2010: The Expendables Panel

All the guys were joking with each other and were in good spirits making for a very fun panel. It was my favorite panel by far. The Expendables take the stage in part 1 of the video. Special guest Bruce Willis surprises everyone, even the Expendables themselves, by coming out on stage. Stallone discusses… Continue reading

Plane (2023) Review: Tony Goldwyn for President
…movie ass-kicker, so I thought we might get another terrific entry in the “Die Hard on a…” series with “Die Hard on a Plane, Then an Island.” You just know these guys’ knees exploded after spending all day filming this shot. But nope! My expectations were shot deader than a double-dead shot-through-the-head zombie. My expectations needed to be down in the graveyard with those zombies, where it’s damp and yucky, and I might’ve been pleasantly surpr… Continue reading
Interview with Stuntwoman Luci Romberg Part 1
…e guys. It’s still rare when you get that ND spot where you get shot. It’s hard too, but you know a lot of women kind of make us look bad. I don’t know what it is, maybe with their level of athleticism, but it’s getting better. So hopefully it will continue to improve women getting the ND spots. You know we can die just as well as the guys. It is getting better just a little bit. There are a lot of women who have worked many years to see that happ… Continue reading
