Dexter Season 7 Episode 1 Review!
…idiculous I hope they drop it and act like it never happened). It’s a good episode, with many of the characters not being quite so blind to pieces of evidence screaming out to them “SOMETHING’S NOT RIGHT HERE!” Here’s what happened: Debra walked in on Dexter stabbing Travis at the end of the last season. This first episode picks up at the church where Debra proceeds to (understandably) freak out. Dexter does some quick thinking, saying that he fou… Continue reading

The Walking Dead Episode 4 Review!
…ome water, but he won’t. Shane tackles him and ties him to a tree in order to get him to take a break. He reveals that the only reason he escaped where he was because the zombies were too busy eating his family. Ooooh. That sucks. Later, everyone is hanging around the campfire and then zombies attack and chow down on a number of unimportant extras, as well as Amy. Rick, T-Dog, and Daryl show up just in time to help fend off the zombies. The episod… Continue reading

Falling Skies Season 2 Episode 8 Review!
…le-is-around-the-corner type of episode entitled “Death March.” The entire episode follows the 2nd Mass. as they travel to Charleston, a journey in which no one dies (at least no character with a name) despite the morbid name. With only two episodes left in the season we can only hope that things will pick up from here. Here’s what happens in a nutshell: Matt writes out a will in case he dies. What kind of important crap does a little KID in the m… Continue reading

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 10 Review!
…de 10 of The Walking Dead season two, “18 Miles Out,” is one of their best episodes yet! One of my biggest complaints of the show is usually that they often talk too much and don’t get anything accomplished, but this time we had plenty of gory zombie action and what few conversations they did have were interesting and purposeful. With the season gearing up for the finale we’ve got plot points ahoy as characters start jumping down each other’s thro… Continue reading
Interview pt. 2: Shelf Life’s Yuri Lowenthal and Tara Platt
…mentary or sexual commentary. We try to balance out the type of humor from episode to episode, and even within the same episode. Y– I think for the most part, every now and then, farting is funny, to me, anyway, and getting punched in the nuts as long as it’s not happening to me in real life, but it’s it always funny to me, but besides the occasional times we venture into that purely for that, even when we’re going blue, it’s based in something el… Continue reading

April’s Finest Moment on TV: G4TV’s Attack of the Show Introduces Cinema’s Most Important Invention Ever
…rtant invention in the history of cinema: Dude Vision. During the April 21 episode of G4TV’s entertainment and technology news series Attack of the Show!, Kevin Pereira revealed the existence of a device that makes “chick flicks” watchable by inserting zombies, robots, explosions, and gun-toting bikini babes. Not that I approve of the invention’s name – nobody has ever mistaken me for a dude – but I must have one. Fortunately for me, AOTS executiv… Continue reading
