John Wick (2014): Don’t Eff With a Hitman’s Dog
…enuine feel and look. Also special props to the fight between Ms. Perkins (Adrianne Palicki) and John. While John Wick does have about 99% male characters (would it hurt them to include a few more non-dudes in there?), Ms. Perkins gets a great fight scene with John in which they go all out beating the crap out of each other. If you haven’t seen John Wick, you must make it your choice for your next movie night. This modern classic does it all just… Continue reading

Danny Bowes: battle: los angeles. only stayed awake (or for that matter, stayed) because i was there for work Douglas Sharpe: Monsters, and Prince of Persia. Not much happens in Monsters. The story was kind of horrible in Persia. Ernie Vazquez: Phantoms, Ben Affleck was the s*** in it! Ettiene LaFitte: The Star Wars Holiday Special. Jeremy Hyle… Continue reading

Con Crud, Community, Craziness: Elizabeth Ann’s Comic-Con 2012 Experience
…free! The second, The Most Dangerous Women at Comic-Con, featured Adrienne Curry as Raptor Jesus and several other women probably most famous online for their blogs or outspoken personalities. This panel left the audience in stitches and empowered to continue the movement of women in the geek world. Girl Power! I also made it to the Bones, Arrow, and Joss panels… each one should be available online somewhere, so I’ll save writing them up in favor… Continue reading

SDCC 2013: The Cast of Psych on Season 8 and Random Tidbits
…Guest Stars Bernsen stated, “Malcolm McDowell, who’s a good buddy, and Tim Curry. These are guys I go back a bit with.” And Nelson was blown away by William Shatner: “He was Mr. Shatner to me. He was so nice and ready to play with us.” As far as who they would like to see on the show Nelson said, “They wish they could have gotten Emilio Estevez. I would have loved Hugh Laurie, because they’ve still never met my husband. That’s my wish list.” Berns… Continue reading

Legion (2010): Embrace the Awfulness
…roy us all, but he runs into one little snag. There’s a waitress, Charlie (Adrianne Palicki), who is pregnant with a child who will save the human race. Before I go on, you must know that I love Paul Bettany, so my view of the movie may be skewed just a little. I mean, he coul… Continue reading

Coming Attraction – Legion (2010)
…of films that proves that Dennis Quaid does not say no to a film, he’s just that hard working. In addition to the Quaid-train, Legion also stars Paul “Chaucer” Bettany, Tyrese “2 Fast 4 Transformers” Gibson, and Adrianne “Girl from Legion” Palecki. It also stars some guns, which I hope are in it for more than a simple cameo appearance. Check out the trailer below. Legion marches into theaters on January 22…. Continue reading
