Olympus Has Fallen (2013)
Gerard Butler + Morgan Freeman + Aaron Eckhart= Die Hard set in the White House. Yes, please! With that kind of math, what else is there to say? This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass! Just kidding! Die Hard’s base formula is pretty simple: Hero with the odds stacked against them + terrorist takeover of a locked-down location = movie. It’s a formula executed to perfection in the original, and one which lends itsel… Continue reading

Wanted (2008) Bullets, Rat Bombs, and Angelina Jolie
…very good duo of kick butt actors with McAvoy and Jolie. Then there’s also Morgan Freeman who has played God before, and now with his role in Wanted, he is trying to be God again…I guess he missed being all powerful. I know I would. Wanted has some similarities to the Matrix with all the slow motion shots and bullet bending, and the existential breaking out of a somber doldrum of an office life into a fast paced, bullet firing liefstyle, but it is… Continue reading

Comic-Con Episode Four: A Fan’s Hope – Starring Yourself?
…much other spectacle. Spurlock isn’t venturing into this chaos unaided. In Morgan Team-Up #1, he joins forces with Joss Whedon, who created Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly, and Stan “The Man” Lee himself. (Do we really need to tell you who Stan created and co-created? That could go on forever, you know.) Even cooler, they want to team up with YOU! Cosplayers crossing the street to the convention center. See their information below for details… Continue reading

Most Dangerous Vampire?
…quite powerful …(and who didn’t love Antonio as a vampire!) blik_sim james freeman: Better still, the one from Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the one with the weird hair. Had the classic evil style. blik_sim james freeman: Dangerous vampires. Perhaps Le Stadt( hope its spelled right) from Interview with a vampire, he was a bit unstable.
