Genius! @ginobot: every Scott Wolf fight scene in double dragon @Heart_man_after: 1. situations where insurance ppl would interject 2. heavy usage of jump cuts & cam angles that obscure the actors face. @iamchoppah: mom in I’m Gonna Get You Sucka..the dude had a moustache. Most Dangerous Vampire?
…from BtVS, and then considered the facts: Sure, he killed two Slayers, but Buffy thwarted him nearly every time. Even when Spike had good plans, he ended up being ruined by his passions. Then he fell in love with Buffy, got ensouled, and sacrificed himself to stop the First. Not even going to go into his time in the “Angel” series. Actually, if you look at Spike’s entire arc, he was dangerous, only to have his dangerousness taken away, as when he… Continue reading
Con Crud, Community, Craziness: Elizabeth Ann’s Comic-Con 2012 Experience
…there’s a reason the saying “Joss Whedon is my master now” came about. The Buffy 20th anniversary panel was also a laugh riot, though it should have been retitled the “Buffy Boys, with special guest Jane Espenson”, because Kristy Swanson had to cancel and was replaced with Randall Batinkoff who joined Nicholas Brendon, James Marsters, Scott Allie, Georges Jeanty, and the previously mentioned Espenson. For anyone who doesn’t know- Nick works “blue”… Continue reading

…The Beast” when she wasn’t turning into a guy named Ben during season 5 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (you know, the season when Buffy got a sister, Dawn, who’d never been mentioned before). Our panel is part of the Comics Arts Conference, a.k.a. Comic-Con’s academic track. Appropriately enough, Clare is a well educated lady. Straight from Clare to Katrina: Clare has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from New York University to go with all her studi… Continue reading
