There have been Ninjas vs. Vampires, Cowboys vs. Zombies, Aliens vs. Predators, and even Monsters vs. Aliens; but, never has there been a mash up exactly like Cowboys & Aliens. This flick takes you back to the old west with primitive weapons and pairs it up the advanced technology of aliens. Throw in Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and James Bond (Daniel Craig) and you’ve got yourself Cowboys & Aliens!
Sooo…the movie itself was alright. It didn’t really draw me in and get me invested in any of the characters, but I didn’t hate it either, which makes it tough to write a dang review about the thing. It was really weird, though, which I can appreciate, and there were some mild surprises here and there. The jokes, however, were few and far between.
A few things Cowboys & Aliens did have were some fantastic explosions! The action was nice and entertaining with the mix of horses, bows and arrows with aliens and their laser guns. It was pretty fun to see Harrison Ford back in action along side Daniel Craig. They both played no nonsense, tough ass characters that get the job done without wasting time. My kind of men!
Best Line: “Don’t yank on it. It’s not your pecker.” This is advice everyone can learn from.
Action Rating: 3 Cowboy Aliens, out of 5.
This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!
Actually makes me want to go see the movie now. It seems to have done almost half of what it cost to produce with means it could still bring home the bacon. Probabley not enough for any sequels.. but enough to have made the venture worth the stab that it was, aye? now I wanna see your take on Smurfs. ^_^ I like your reviews.

LOVE the graphic you have on this one, Kat! I liked the film enough, Rockwell as the stooge was a bit of a stretch, but he is talented.
