The Scream trilogy has had me hooked ever since I saw Drew Barrymore hanging from a tree with her insides on the outside. So I am really excited and really cautious about the fourth installment, Scream 4. Scream 3 was a great wrap-up of the trilogy, so Wes Craven had better bring his A game to the table. I’m really happy to see that my favorite characters from the first three – Sidney (Neve Campbell), Dewey (David Arquette), and Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) – have returned. However, I hate to see that they’ve returned because there’s a good chance one or all might bite the dust this time around and I am going to hate that, no matter how “necessary” it is in order to reboot the franchise. There are plans to turn this into another trilogy, so get ready. Who’s going to be Ghostface this time? My guess is that there’s a guy who was completely ignored by Sidney and was the only guy Sidney’s slut of a mother wouldn’t bang. So this guy becomes really depressed and neglects his sweet little puppy dog. That puppy dog, 10 years later, is all grown up and out to get revenge on Sidney and her friends for the neglect he experienced when he was just a wee pup. You don’t have to say it, I’m a genius.
Newcomers to Scre4m are Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella. There are also appearances by Kristen Bell and Anna Paquin. Wes Craven returns as director alongside writer Kevin Williamson. Scream 4 will screech its way onto the big screen April 15, 2011.
This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!
I’m looking forward to this, I think one of the main cast well get it this time too. But maybe the killer will have no ties to sydney at all, he/she/them are just obssessed with movie remakes and reboots, and is trying to make what happened ten years ago all over again so another stab movie comes out

I’m definitely looking forward to this. I loved the first two “Screams”, the third was “meh”. Glad to see Craven actually directing.
