Freelance (2023): This Film Shouldn’t Quit Its Day Job
Freelance (2023) has the right ingredients for a good action comedy souffle. We’ve got John Cena and Allison Brie plusTaken director Pierre Morel. Cowboys, robberies, and an incredibly historically inaccurate look at the life of Jesse James is what American Outlaws is all about. If you want to see a good action film, or even a mediocre action film, then don’t watch The Specialist. There are a few good things about this flick, like when the end credits start rolling. Continue reading

Review: Red 2 (2013)
Let’s cut the crap and get to it. Red 2 is not a good movie. For starters, there’s a whole lot of focus on Frank (Bruce Willis) and Sarah’s (Mary-Louise Parker) relationship… too much focus. There are a few cute, … Continue reading

Classic Film Review: The Magnificent Seven (1960)!
You know how oftentimes men won’t communicate with their words, and instead will just give a look, or a nod, or a hand gesture, and the other man just ‘gets’ it. That’s what I call “manspeak” and The Magnificent Seven … Continue reading
Review: Bail Enforcers (2011)!
Often when a wrestler is in a movie, they’re usually the worst actor in the film. However, that is not the case with Bail Enforcers. WWE’s Trish Stratus was one of the best actors in the film, and she was … Continue reading
