Stunt professionals fascinate us. The Action Flick Chick has posted interviews with several top stuntfolk: David Leitch, La Faye Baker, and Luci Romberg, with more on the way. We first came to adore Luci while watching her take on the world’s toughest obstacle course on Ninja Warrior, G4TV’s translated version of the Japanese competition program Sasuke. In the first part of her interview with the Action Flick Chick, Luci talked about her work on films like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls, Changeling, and Zombieland, and then topics in part two included her experiences with Ninja Warrior, parkour, and more about stuntwork. This week Luci shared a number of behind-the-scenes pics from this weekend’s monster hit Zombieland.

Luci is one of the first people you see in the movie. Look for her in a yellow dress (shown in the first set we posted) hanging off the back of a truck. If you’ve seen the film, Luci’s outfit in the top photo and this one immediately below (also worn by actress Abigail Breslin as the character “Little Rock”) should make it clear what part of the movie Luci was working on the day these were taken.

I asked Luci about the photo below. I thought I knew who the blond woman had to be and I wanted to identify everyone.

Luci: Yes, the blond woman is Lisa Hoyle, Emma’s stunt double. Along with me, she is a member of the Stuntwomen’s Association of Motion Pictures (SWAMP) and she has doubled over 100 actresses — example: Keira Knightley on Pirates of the Caribbean and Domino, Radha Mitchell on Surrogates, Christina Applegate, and the list goes on and on. The other girl is Aja Frary. She is a stuntwoman out of NY. She is an incredible athlete and a track star in college. Scott Burik is the tall guy. He is not only an incredible stunt man, but he is also a NY firefighter!

For Luci's sake, we hope that's just makeup.
