Who Should Star in New Charlie’s Angels? with Blu-Ray Giveaway!

The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) placed an order for TV pilots and scripts for potential mid-season replacement series including a potential new Charlie’s Angels from Sony TV with writers Al Gough and Miles Millar. This order does not yet mean another Angels movie couldn’t hit theaters anyway. Charlie’s Angels producers Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen told Sci-Fi Wire earlier this year that they were contemplating another theatrical film as well.

Who should don the halos now? And for that matter, who would be right for Charlie? During the time since 2003’s Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, actor John Forsythe passed away. The voice of enigmatic Charles Townsend in the 1976-1981 TV series as well as the two movies, Forsythe created a sense of continuity across different decades, from small screen to large. Although, admittedly, they’d have to cast a fourth Bosley since two of the previous (David Doyle and Bernie Mac) are both gone and Bill Murray just didn’t get along with the cast and crew.

TheYoungLiar: Depends on if its portraying the Angels just starting out or not. If it’s them in the beginning, i’d go with unknowns. If thats not the case, i can see Scarlett Johannsson as one, seeing as she can do action now that she was in Iron Man 2. and i think Maggie Q would make for a really good Angel. I do have to say that Drew Barrymore was my favorite of the previous.
