During my top secret trip to L.A. for G4TV’s Next Woman of the Web photo shoot, television producers Joke and Biagio of Vh-1’s Scream Queens 2 reality competition invited me onto their set.
Actress Jaime King, acting coach John Homa, and film director Tim Sullivan put 10 actresses through the wringer to see which one has the acting chops and the sheer guts to earn a role in the upcoming motion picture Saw 3-D. Together with actress Shawnee Smith and director James Gunn, Homa previously tested the mettle of a different set of actresses, and Tanedra Howard emerged to fulfill her acting dreams, appearing in both Saw V and Saw VI.
Incidentally, stuntwoman Luci Romberg (Ninja Warrior, Green Lantern) worked with Scream Queens contestants on their stuntwork. I interviewed Luci last year, she sent me behind-the-scenes pics from Zombieland, and she’s joining me later this month for the “Where Are the Action Chicks?” panel at San Diego Comic-Con International.
Next month I’ll start sharing interviews and more with you. For now I can’t tell you everything I heard and saw on the SQ2 set, not before the program starts airing next month, although I do see that the trailer below gives away at least one thing that I’d promised to keep secret. Check it out!
Also enjoy the Screen Queens iPhone app, designed by Joke and programmed by Biagio.

I actually watched and liked Screen Queens…and the best actress actually won…Tanedra Howard!
