Seven Throat Rips That Will Leave You Speechless!
…he has to teach them to hold their tongue! https://youtu.be/pIEgAZkM__E 3. Underworld: Awakening (2012) This gruesome throat rip doesn’t belong to Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as most would think, but to her daughter Eve (India Eisley). The actual throat ripping action is at ~2:30. https://youtu.be/tWuBw5082gI 2. Rambo (2008) What was previously my favorite entry on this list, this clip features one of the most ass-kickingest of heroes, Rambo, taking… Continue reading

Jason Statham’s Hummingb-I Mean Redemption- Preview
…into normal society, he soon finds himself tangled up in London’s criminal underworld leading to some bad things. Those bad things lead to Joey looking for REDEMPTION! I think the name change was appropriate for this film, though I’m curious as to why it was originally titled Hummingbird. Overall it looks like another grim and gritty Statham flick, hopefully with plenty of the requisite Statham kicking of the asses. Redemption, presented by Roadsi… Continue reading

2013’s Promising Action Movies Part 1!
…ent a nuclear-weapons heist, causing the father and son to team up against underworld forces. G.I. Joe: Retaliation There has been a lot of curious things going on with this flick- originally set to be released in 2012, it was pushed back to March 29 in order to “add 3D and increase international interest.” After I heard rumors of poor reactions to the original cut of the film, I hope the delay is to also re-film some scenes. It stars a fantastic… Continue reading

Which Actress is the Best at Playing Ass Kicking Heroines?
…he baddest badasses to grace the screen, regardless of gender, and Selene (Underworld) is not very far behind, I think that the proper answer to this question requires that the actress has portrayed several different characters. With that criteria in mind, I’d have to give the nod to Angelina Jolie, for Salt, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Tomb Raider and its sequels, and probably others that I’m not thinking of at the moment. If question was more about a si… Continue reading

Interview: Amber Hale, Supermodel (Zuda Competitor)
…a heroine, but I really loved Kate Beckinsale’s “Selene” in the first two Underworld films. The movies themselves weren’t the greatest, but her character was fantastic. I can’t help but wonder what they could’ve done with her if they had a great movie franchise to back her up with. A lost opportunity for sure. I tend to like the bad girls. And by bad girls, I don’t necessarily mean tattoos and black vinyl (although that stuff helps). I mean, I li… Continue reading
