I’ve been getting several independent films lately. 99% of them are not action, but I still want to promote the little guys and keep you posted on what all is out there.
One Hour Fantasy Girl is an independent film written and directed by Edgar Michael Bravo and produced by John Paul Rice. Starring Kelly-Ann Tursi, this film is about a young woman living in Los Angeles. She’s trying to just get through life one day at a time and get cash by doing whatever job she can. So she goes into business with a friend to start a web service, One Hour Fantasy Girl. A customer pays her money to act out any fantasy of their choice for one hour, no more, no less. Now, for all of you who are getting your hopes up like I did, it does not involve sexual activities of any kind and does not contain nudity. She makes it very clear to her costumers that she stays in at least bra and undies and does not perform sexual favors. So you can feel free to sit down and watch this with a teenager in order to drive home the whole “get an education” and “don’t run away or you’ll have problems like this girl” lessons. It is actually based on a true story, part of what kept me engrossed throughout the whole movie. One Hour Fantasy Girl was oddly intriguing. It kept me interested enough that I didn’t even fast forward through any of it, and that’s a big compliment coming from an adrenaline junkie like me. So check out the trailer and see if it strikes your fancy.
This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!

See if it "strikes" my "fancy" … Was that an unintentional pun, ha ha!
