Day #10: Devil May Cry 4
General Thoughts: Dante has been the hero of all the Devil May Cry games; however, this time we are introduced to Nero. You play as this guy first, who has one demon arm, and then play as Dante later in the game. At the end of each mission you are rated on how well you did. What the hell kind of rating is “S.” At first I thought I did so horrible they were giving me S for “suck,” but then I learned that “S” is a higher rating than “A.” Okay, I’m just going to roll with it. Overall, this game is incredibly noob friendly. It has all kinds of options to make things easier for you, or make things more of a challenge for the ones who have played before.
31 Minutes of Play: I was able to complete 2 missions: Birds of a feather and La Porte Del ‘Enfen. I got a rating of A and B respectively, which is not to shabby for my first time if I don’t say so myself. I ran around and beat the snot out of these demon things. The only thing I had problems with was the cut scenes. I get a little impatient sometimes and I felt like the cut scenes were every 2 minutes and at least 3-4 minutes long each. So after a while I started skipping them, because I wanted to beat up the demons, not watch a cut scene of them getting beat up.
Craziest Moment: Stage 2’s boss was a giant fire demon, who was so huge that I looked like an ant comparatively. Well, this ant just sent you back to hell, buddy! I had a great time beating some demon ass, and I will be coming back to this game for more demonic butt busting.
Fun Rating: 4 Crystallized Demon Blood, out of 5!
This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!
