Any actors hired for a role in The Hunger Games films have a hard task ahead of them. Fans have already formed mental pictures of every scene and every character from the books, so if it doesn’t play out on the big screen exactly the way they imagined it, disappointment sets in. Sam Claflin, playing the part of Finnick Odair, has experienced a lot of this pressure to get it right while filming the second installment, Catching Fire. Entertainment Weekly traveled to Hawaii to get exclusive interviews and behind the scenes looks. Claflin talks about getting tweets: “So many people have been like ‘Don’t mess this up, or we will kill you.’” That’s quite a bit of pressure!
EW also has interviews with Jennifer Lawrence and director Francis Lawrence covering their first meeting, vision for the film, and how down to earth Jennifer Lawrence is. Sounds like heaven for fans of the books/films, so pick it up today. Visit EW.com for more information on what it has to offer. Here are a few more images of the new film from EW.
