Following up on her previous topic, “Dumbest Movie Death,” the Action Flick Chick asked more specifically, “Which movie villains died too easily?” A few of the same names came up both times – especially names out of Star Wars.
WARNING: SPOILERS ABOUND!!!!!
Tanner Gibson: WHIPLASH! Geez, that was the biggest problem with Iron Man 2!
Richard Purnell: i couldn’t think of one, but i gotta Agree with Tan and Ric.
Liz Hatter: Two-Face from The Dark Knight!
Wayne Borowski: two-face’s death was perfect. Whiplash sucked though, for sure.
Jimmy Misanthrope: Hans Gruber!
Gil Paulsen: I love the movie i love the death but GAry Oldman in”
The Professional” I mean it is the perfect movie to me , but after all that madness and mayhem , how easy was it to kill him? He hands him the pins , perfect and easy at the same time
Paul Davenport: Dieter Von Cunth
Adam Frazier: Darth Maul. Boba Fett. Whiplash. Jerry Falwell. The Man in Black/Smoke Monster
Gerardo Lopez-Castillo: Whiplash
Kanu Digit: Emperor Palpatine–picked up and tossed into a reactor? That’s it? Trusted Vader a bit too much.
Carlo Jose San Juan: Boba Fett
Coop Cooper: Darth Vader. He got his hand cut off then tasered a couple of times by the Emperor and he croaks? What a wuss.
Karen Gilmore: Vega from The Legend of Chun Li. #fail
Gil Paulsen: Brandon wins !!!! he pulled a Gzus out of the hat
Brandon Wolgast: I feel honored to win something. =)
Caitlin Herron: Not sure if it qualifies as a true villain, but I think the clown in Zombieland was owned way too easily. Looking at the preview I thought that was going to be an epic battle, but it was over super quick.
Joshua David Obershaw: Boba Fett. Hands down!
Markus Hunt: Darth Maul for me. Poster boy for Ep1. Epic choreography. Arguably the coolest lightsaber. And just watches as beardy flips over him and carves him a new one.
Michael Dellheim: How about the big nasty tenticle monster at the end of Hellboy? Oh… and how about a shouout to The Fallen from Transformers 2??
KdotB: not a real “death”, but Mickey Rourke got beat up way too easily (TWICE!) in IronMan 2. No challenge = disappointing flick
wyldride: Another villain who died too easily was The Penguin in Batman Returns. He was kinda upstaged by Max Shreck.

…to a degree my all time favorite ‘let down’ is at the end of Superman II. After watching the Clan of Zod wreck shit up the whole movie, they all get killed in like… 10 seconds?
Non just kinda flops down a hole on his own.
I understand that their powers were gone, but the mean/vengeful side of me wanted to see them get smacked and slapped around a bit more.
