The Commune is so disturbing you just can’t stop thinking about it. The Commune is a flick written, directed, and produced by Elizabeth Fies. It is about a young girl who is forced to spend some time with her never there father at his commune. The movie’s website says it best: A young virgin finds herself isolated in a remote commune of religious “family” members with a sinister agenda to ensure their supernatural survival. The Commune is not an action movie but it is creepy and interesting. As I said earlier, it just sticks in your mind like a fly to a sticky trap. Check out the trailer.
This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!

This is seriously one of my favorite movies I’ve seen all year. Fies is a really good director, and I loved the way this film was shot. Its really gorgeous and the use of new age-y imagery was so neato rama. Glad you covered it!
