Review: Bail Enforcers (2011)!

Often when a wrestler is in a movie, they’re usually the worst actor in the film. However, that is not the case with Bail Enforcers. WWE’s Trish Stratus was one of the best actors in the film, and she was only okay…which should tell you something about the other performances.

Bail Enforcers is about exactly what the title says. A group of people go around catching people who have skipped out on paying bail or have a bounty on their heads. One night the group, consisting of Jules (Trish Stratus), Chase (Boomer Phillips), and Ridley (Frank J. Zupancic- I think he’s the third group member. I honestly can’t tell if the actor was the good guy or the bad guy), catches an informant with a $100,000 bounty. A mobster who wants this man more, offers the group a million dollars to turn the informant over to him. Let the moral dilemmas ensue!

This film is all right for an independent film. As stated previously, the acting is not good and the story is mediocre but in a way that can make you laugh sometimes. There were quite a few hand to hand and wrestling battles which were entertaining, and since Stratus is a wrestler she was doing most of her stunts herself. She is one kick ass lady in real life winning seven WWE Women’s Championships, and got to be a badass very briefly in the film… until she was taken hostage and had to be rescued by her two male counterparts. Sigh.

According to IMDB, Bail Enforcers has not yet been released but looks like it’ll be out in India January 1, 2012.

Action Rating: 1 1/2 Bail Enforcers, out of 5.

Heh… I like how you say “She is one kick ass lady in real life winning seven WWE Women’s Championships” as if wrestling is real life…

Kinda sounds like a chick version of “midnight run”

Ugh, why did I like that trailer?

It seemed like Trish was going to do alright until I read the part where you shitted all over her. Hmm…..I might still enjoy this. Like you said, she was given a few chances to shine and actually kick ass. I have to admit the last part of the trailer was funny.
