Day #5: Bayonetta
General Thoughts: What’s not to love about an action game that stars a hot chick that kicks a lot of ass! Bayonetta is a single player stylish action game for the X-Box 360. I think this is an excellent game for noobs and veterans because it’s challenging enough for the experienced players yet it will walk you through everything you need to know, and it comes with a variety of difficulty settings to help you tweak your experience. I love it that it will tell you what buttons to push when you need to push them in order to humiliate your opponent and destroy them. That is great for someone like me, who doesn’t always remember which combination of buttons will do which moves. I will definitely keep playing this one, folks. Bayonetta’s a keeper.
31 Minutes of Play: I started in Chapter 2: Vigrid, City of Déjà vu. At one point during the game, I kicked a guy onto all fours, shackled him in place, repeatedly kicked him in the cornhole, and then chopped his head off with a guillotine. I was so pleasantly surprised by such a hilariously awesome move that I squealed with joy. At the end of each battle you get a rating of how well you did, and I got earned golds ratings and one silver rating with an overall rating of silver for the whole chapter. I also got the Wicked Weave Achievement for…I don’t know what, nor do I care, but I sure as crap got it!
Craziest Moment: I was fighting one of the mini bosses at the very end of the chapter. It’s important to note that Bayonetta’s clothes are actually made from her hair magically wrapped around her body. At one point during the fight, her “clothes” unwrapped and turned into a ginormous dragon. I was stunned, and had no freakin’ idea what was going on. This dragon bit the opponent in two spraying blood and guts everywhere. It was freakin’ awesome and I love this game.
Fun Rating: 5 Ginormous Dragons Made Out of Hair, out of 5!
This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!
