Die Hard 2: Die Harder (1990)
…s in this movie, one of them being Carl Winslow, as mentioned before in my Die Hard review. This time he only makes a brief appearance with Twinkies in his mouth. He doesn’t let down the audience either, it’s pure, uncut Carl Winslow goodness. T-1000, Robert Patrick, from Terminator 2 is also in this movie. Only, he dies. His character is not as bad ass in this movie. Of course the T-1000 came after Die Hard, so we’ll let the fact that he got his… Continue reading

The people behind… Continue reading

Moore indicated this wouldn’t be a light hearted roll in the hay and that glib jokes have no place in his Die Hard film: “No, because that’s preposterous! I don’t know whether it’s post-financial… Continue reading

Olympus Has Fallen (2013)
…Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass! Just kidding! Die Hard’s base formula is pretty simple: Hero with the odds stacked against them + terrorist takeover of a locked-down location = movie. It’s a formula executed to perfection in the original, and one which lends itself to attempted recreations. So much so, in fact, that there’s an entire sub-genre of action movies one could simply describe as “Die Hard in/on a…” Under Sieg… Continue reading
