Push (2009)
Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning light up the screen in the sort-of-action film Push. I have to say that despite its slow pace, I liked this flick. Continue reading

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001)
She’s a motorcycle riding, leather wearing, gun slinging tomb raider in the movie Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Croft is an independent woman who can take care of her own problems by using two guns and plain old fashioned ass kicking. Boys, tuck away your junk because Croft doesn’t mess around. She plays for keeps. Continue reading

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army (2008)
I HAVE BEEN TRICKED! IF YOU’RE NOT CAREFUL YOU WILL BE TRICKED TOO. Here I was thinking Hellboy II was an action movie, and probably a pretty good one at that, but what I got instead was a movie filled with plot and a foofy schmoofy love story. Continue reading

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
I do have one beef. Indy climbed into a lead refrigerator, and ended up surviving the nuclear bomb. Really? Is that possible? I am going to be really mad when I try to survive a nuclear bomb that way and it doesn’t work. Continue reading

Quantum of Solace (2008)
“If you could avoid killing every possible lead, it would be greatly appreciated.” I think that this line spoken by M (Judi Dench) to Bond (Daniel Craig) explains this movie very well. Continue reading

Cloverfield (2008)
It’s a good movie overall, great for a scary movie night. The lesson that can be learned here is to never live in New York. Crap always goes down in New York first. Continue reading
