Geek Girls Create – What Would YOUR Comic-Con Panel Cover?

Attending WonderCon? Check out some of my favorite geeky gals in their “Geek Girls Create” panel on Saturday, March 17, at 5:30 p.m. Check them out on Facebook (Geek Girls Create) and follow their fun tweets on Twitter (see their @’s above). I’ll be there! Will you?

Later, I’ll tell you about other friends’ panels and wow do we have big plans for this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con. This weekend, I asked other online associates, friends, fiends, and fans what topic they’d cover if they had their own con panels.

"Oh, You Sexy Geek!" Oh, how much trouble our summer 2011 panel stirred up.

Answers on Facebook:
Sarah Fuller Phillips: Using comic book media in narrative therapy for adolescents/college students. Of course, I’d have to do quite a bit of research and several years of practice with it, but if we’re dreaming here….
William G. Hamrick Jr.: I once did an “independent study” class in college on the topic of “Comic Books as Literature” so I would probably want to design a panel around that idea. Hmm, might be something to suggest to the DragonCon folks this year.

Travis Langley: Summer 2012: “The Dark Knight Rises: Is Batman Broken?” with Michael Uslan, Steven Englehart, & Denny O’Neil. Plus one with Andrea Letamendi, but when we reveal that title’s up to her.

  1. Brian says:

Kristen Nedopak is THE most dangerous geek hands down. Swordplay and a whiskey drinker? Cmon!

  2. Victoria says:

If I had to pick a favorite Geek girl out there, my vote would be, without a doubt – Kristen Nedopak. This woman is a triple, or even quadruple threat! She is such a talented being – she is an amazing producer, creates kick-ASS costumes, blogs, hosts, is an actor, model, and best of all, she creates her own very creative productions from beginning to end. All around – she’s a danger to the other geek girls out there! (No disrespect to all the other amazing geek women). She rocks the house. Oh yes,and also a woman who can handle a sword and as Brian mentioned – a good shot of whiskey!

  3. I was convinced after I saw Nedopak do a diving combat roll with a handgun. Her art is crazy… costumes craziest of all, she’s a great writer, hilarious… and on top of all that… add some green makeup and she’s that scary-ass witch from the west. I have never seen an actor/artist more versatile than K.Nedopak… FAVORITE (SCARY) GEEK!!

  4. Alexa says:

Kristen Nedopak can wield a sword and has a costume with working dragon wings. So, she could fly and slay muthas. KRISTEN NEDOPAK = A DANGEROUSLY BEAUTIFUL GEEK!

  5. Kristen Nedopak can go from leather clad warrior to dancing exotic Fairy in the blink of an eye. She is my favorite Geek Chick. 🙂

  6. L. Tooker says:

Kristen Nedopak is not just the most dangerous geek, but the hottest too! She’s my fav!

  7. Ty says:

Kristen is the Duke of NY! So bad ass!
