The idea that Fast Five was coming out seemed a bit silly at first (being the fifth film in a series that seemed to have been played out), but then it rocked the box office so hard they had to get hurricane insurance, which is a good thing because The Fast and the Furious 6 is on its way! Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, and Dwayne Johnson are set to reprise their roles from the previous films. The plot has yet to be released but it has been announced that the newest action star, Gina Carano, is “in negotiations” to play a part of Dwayne Johnson’s crew. I hope those negotiations turn out well because she’d make a great addition to the action with her MMA skills. Gear up and secure your possessions, The Fast and the Furious 6 is scheduled to storm the theaters May 24, 2013.

I personally really liked Fast Five…it ended up in my top 10 for the year. While Haywire was forgetable I like Gina and hope she signs on for Fast Six. I’ve been a fan of hers since her American Gladiator days.
