This is for all the males and females out there who are not obsessed with the Twilight Saga but still want to be knowledgeable on many topics. New Moon came out in theaters Friday, November 20. This is the second installment, out of 4, of the Twilight Saga. I have not seen the movie New Moon but I did read the book a while back, trying to figure out what the big friggin’ deal was.
Here’s what happens in New Moon: just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse than sparkling emo vampires, they throw shirtless, homoerotic werewolves into the mix. Edward (the vampire) leaves Bella (helpless crybaby) in order to “protect her.” She stays in a deep depression the whole book, crying and feeling like there’s a huge hole in her chest. Jacob (Bella’s Native American friend) discovers he can turn into a werewolf, and several other young men from Jacob’s tribe can also turn into werewolves. This is so that they can protect themselves against the vampires. Meanwhile, through a Three’s Company level misunderstanding, Edward thinks Bella is dead and wants to be dead too! So Bella, not being dead, goes off to save Edward. They get back together and Jacob who is also in love with Bella and put up with her bellyaching for a very long time gets pushed out of way. Sound like something you want to watch? THEN GET OUT! 😉

You forgot the bit where she was in a zombie-like coma state 😛 Not sure if it made it to the movie, but when my older sister read it, I almost soiled myself cause all of a sudden, I just hear this shriek from upstairs. The kind that should be saved for stuff like axe-murderers or the like.

If they keep Dakota Fanning for the next Twilight installment they’ll have to give her a bigger role, maybe have her hook up with Jacob, etc.
