Have all the stories in the world been told already? Is there really nothing out there that is a new and original plot anymore? It feels like there isn’t with Hollywood putting out remake after remake and formulaic movies such as Colombiana.
Colombiana stars Zoe Saldana as Cataleya, a hardcore assassin seeking revenge on the people [...]

Colombiana: It had me with “From the writers of Taken!” Whoo hoo, I love Taken so I’m blindly optimistic about Colombiana, staring Zoe Saldana, who is shaping up to be a pretty kick-ass action actress. In Colombiana, aA small child witnesses her parents’ murder so what does she do? Naturally, she grows up to be [...]

Most people have been called a loser once or twice in their lifetime. Well folks, now you can stop being depressed about being a loser. The Losers make that insult more of an awesome thing to be called because these “losers” are skilled, smart individuals, and they kick a lot of ass!

Sigourney Weaver, Eliza Dushku, Zoe Saldana, and Elizabeth Mitchell. What do all these names have in common? They’re all women who kick a lot of ass! And I was super pumped to be at this panel during Comic-Con 2009. All of these women have set good examples for women everywhere by playing strong female roles in movies or TV shows, and done quite nicely showing Hollywood that women have what it takes to “run with the big dogs” and basically kick a lot ass along the way.
