Comedy can be lethal. Stand-up comics whose acts go over well “killed tonight” or “really slayed ‘em” because their audiences “died laughing.”
In the G4TV Women of the Web special in which Action Flick Chick Katrina Hill was announced as the winner of the Next Woman of the Web competition, G4 looked at 15 other women [...]

Heads: They’re not just for holding up hats. They also are used for thinking and reading! I do like to read, I am just usually cut short on time like everybody is. When it comes down to choosing what to do with a short amount of free time, I usually choose to either watch an action movie or read what is written on the walls of Left 4 Dead 2.

It has to be a quick, clean, silent maneuver. The larynx! In order to ensure that your target won’t [...]

Interview with Boondock Saints II Actors Julie Benz and Clifton Collins, Jr.

Action Flick Chick | November 16, 2009

Clifton_Collins_Jr_Julie_Benz

During San Diego Comic Con 2009, I was privileged enough to interview Julie Benz and Clifton Collins, Jr., from The Boondock Saints II: All Saint’s Day. It was a round table interview, which means it was a group interview. There were several other people there with me asking questions. I did get an extra special treat while there, though, because I was just expecting to see Julie and Clifton, but when our interview was over, Sean Patrick Flannery and Norman Reedus sat down right in front of me.

Action Flick Chick | October 3, 2009

Zombieland movie image Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg (1)

Zombieland kicks some serious zombie butt! And made me want to eat some Twinkies to boot. I’ve been pumped about this movie since the first day I heard about it, and it was everything I’d hoped and dreamed for. Finally, we get a movie that isn’t a remake or a sequel! Zombieland is fresh and original, and for a movie about walking, rotting corpses that says a lot!

Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! Here’s a thought. If some random guy in a graveyard asks you to wheel his wheelbarrow somewhere while he does something else “real quick,” just say no; because, chances are, that wheelbarrow will contain zombified hands and heads. Or…just say yes! Then you have the next month’s worth of practical jokes all lined up! Sounds good! Where’s the nearest graveyard?
