Mini Review: Paul (2011)

Tiny naked alien butt and space man balls! Oh yeah, Paul has it all! Written by and starring my favorite comedy duo, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Paul is about two nerds who come across an alien, Paul (voice by Seth Rogan), and try to help him get back home before the government takes him away.

Every now and then, an action lover needs to watch a non-action film to serve as a palate cleanser to remind you why you love action so much. Paul was that palate cleanser for me, and it was a great choice. It’s consistently funny and light hearted, and it even surprised me with a few action sequences and a MASSIVE explosion! It’s also chock full of nerdy references, but you don’t have to understand them all to enjoy it so don’t worry if your nerd knowledge is a little rusty. I recommend Paul to those looking to laugh and have a good time.

This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!
