May Mega Mayhem: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time!

Day #28: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time!

General Thoughts: With the movie having just come out, I felt compelled to play the video game from which the film originated.  In Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, you play as the Prince of Persia and…. wield the sands of time. Seems pretty clear to me! This game is very noob friendly- as soon as I started a new game there were prompts telling me how to run, jump, climb walls, and shank the enemies. If you can just get your timing down right so that you don’t keep halfway running up walls and then falling to your death, you’re set to go. The prompts were unobtrusive so that if you are familiar with the game it didn’t get in your way or slow you down. I wish more games would take such a clear cut.

31 Minutes of Play: I didn’t get anything significant accomplished. It’s kind of hard to when you are only playing for 31 minutes. However, I did have a grand old time running up walls and jumping impossible distances. This game lets you do everything you wish you could do in real life. I also got to run up baddies’ faces, flip over them and then slice them to pieces. Fun stuff!

Fun Rating: 3 Daggers of Time, out of 5!

This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!
