May Mega Mayhem: Mario Kart: Double Dash!

Day #30: Mario Kart: Double Dash!

General Thoughts: Are you and you’re friends looking for something fun and legal to do? Just pick up a controller and play Double Dash! It’s fun for everyone! It’s easy to get the hang of and includes several different modes of play. What’s great about this version as opposed to all the other Mario Karts is that you can pick two characters, for twice the racing pleasure. While one is driving the other is hanging off the back throwing shells and bananas at your friends. This also means that you can hold two items at once, and not just one measly item. There’s a large mix of levels to please your eyes, and so that if you suck at one level you don’t have to suck at all the levels (Just make sure you’re player one, so that you can pick the stages you are the best at.)

31 Minutes of Play: I invited over 3 of my friends and I picked the Toad/Toadette combo for my characters. We started on Luigi’s Circuit and ended with Rainbow Road. My pals and I are pretty evenly matched as far as skills go so I finished in every place, from first in the Daisy Cruiser stage, to last in the Baby Park stage. Rainbow Road is the most difficult for me, but I keep coming back to it to try to improve. I came in third this time, but I shall rise again!

Fun Rating: 5 Turtle Shells, out of 5!

This is the Action Flick Chick, and you’ve just been kicked in the ass!
