May Mega Mayhem: Little Big Planet

Day #14: Little Big Planet

General Thoughts: Little Big Planet is a PS3 exclusive game. In it, you play as a little sack-person and run, jump, and hump your way through a countless number of levels. Some are made by the game creators themselves, but most are made by a community of devoted and devious Little Big Planet fans. The game itself is a relaxing, low-pressure affair with an emphasis on wacky fun and giggles over split-second reaction time. I had a wonderful time playing it, and even managed to complete a couple of levels just fine despite being delirious from just having woken up. Little Big Planet is a great game for noobs and experts alike, and I’ll definitely keep playing this one.

31 Minutes of Play: I completed the opening credits level, and the first stage. I spent a big portion of my time air-humping while the narrator explained bits and pieces of the game to me. I managed to snag a couple of trophies while playing, 2X multiplier, for getting a 2X score multiplier, Artist, for throwing around some stickers, and Fashion Sense, for dressing my sack-person up with a zombie skin, shark head, Genghis Khan ‘stache and Mozart pants.

Craziest Moment: After putting stickers on an old English dude, he knocked down a wall and two gophers with googly eyes popped up and congratulated me.

Fun Rating: 5 googly eyed gophers, out of 5!
