During Katrina’s super secret trip to L.A. for her super secret Next Woman of the Web photo shoot, she paid a super secret visit to the set of VH1’s Scream Queens 2, the competition in which 10 actresses compete to win a role in Saw VII, a.k.a. Saw 3-D, which happens to include her friend Sean Patrick Flanery (Young Indiana Jones, The Boondock Saints) in its cast. Stuntwoman Luci Romberg (Ninja Warrior, Zombieland, Green Lantern) has worked on the series as well. SQ2 producers Joke and Biagio have been great online friends, so it was a big pleasure for our Action Flick Chick to accept their invitation to visit the set, meet them in person, and get to know film director Tim Sullivan along with a few others along the way.
The second season began airing on VH1 earlier tonight and runs for 8 weeks. Now we don’t know how the contestants fared, so scrutinizing whatever Katrina might say about the show won’t yield any clues as to which actress will succeed season one’s champion Tanedra Howard, who won a role in Saw V and then got to return for Saw VI. Katrina will have her own interviews and other goodies to share from time to time while the new season airs.
