The Academy is a great independent action film directed by Kenneth Barr. Its main focus is about a group of people who wake up to find themselves stuck in a little game of human cat and mouse. The participants must pick a human target out of the group and try to kill the opposition before the opposition kills them. Lemme tell you, this flick is full of action! People actually getting killed and shot and sliced up and all sorts of other great stuff! Yay!

This is a pretty action-packed, with far more action than I’ve ever seen from an independent film, so kudos to The Academy’s production team. My only complaint is that my copy of the film skipped like mad. And of course it happened at the end of the film during the big climax. Grrr. Pissed me off real good. I think I know how it ends but don’t know for sure. Check out the trailer and see if it suits your fancy.
