Independent Film: Man Overboard (2008)

Man Overboard is a comedy directed by Oliver Robbins (who got attacked by a toy clown and a giant tree in Poltergeist during his younger days). This indie film’s about a boat salesman (Matthew Kaminsky) who owns his own business and is awesome at what he does; however, the three stooges he has working for him are less than inspired to sell boats. So, he turns to a new salesman dressed in a fancy suit (Mel Fair), who guarantees to help turn the business around. Looks like the salesmen are in for a surprise! Man Overboard wasn’t a “laugh out loud” kind of movie for me. It was humorous at times, but I felt it focused more on plot than the humor.
