Prepare to have your mindhole blown with the summer blockbuster Inception!!!! This is an amazing film that combines action, a new storyline, intricate plot, and awesome special effects. That’s it in a nutshell, folks.

Okay, so I was a little bored the first hour because there was a lot of talking and planning and little action. I wanted it to get to the point, and boy did it! I can’t tell you how excited I was to see a completely original film. Christopher Nolan, I salute you. And, I bet Joseph Gordon-Levitt was happy to finally be the tough guy and not the nerd I’m used to seeing him play. There’s not much else for me to say here, folks. The movie’s just that great! Now, go out and watch this friggin’ movie!!!

Time until initial action starts: ~ 4 minutes

Baddies: Projections of your subconscious.

Best Line: “You mustn’t be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling” This is said as Eames (Tom Hardy) pulls out a grenade launcher that shrimps Arthur’s (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) gun.

Best Kill: Eames is skiing down a hill with baddies hot on his heels. He realizes he’s had enough of being the victim, turns around, skiing backwards and mows down the baddies with a gun. Nice move!

Best Explosion: Eames has set up explosives all around a snowy mountain fortress. They explode causing a huge beautiful explosion against a snowy background, collapsing the fortress. Notice that all the best moments involve Eames doing something awesome? That’s cause that dude is the balls.

Action Rating: 3 ½ Dreams Within Dreams, out of 5.
