Seen The Crazies yesterday and unlike most horror movies I actually enjoyed it. The characters were all interesting enough and didn’t do much of the usually horror movie “fall down while being chased” stuff. I enjoyed even though I made the mistake of reading your review of it before hand and kind of knew what was gonna happen in a couple of places

Love the rating….1/2 F U’s out of 5….too funny. Yeah I think my brother worked for free (thus why I think he got credit for it as did most of the zombie undead) on the weekends on this movie as one of the zombies….just so he could be in a zombie movie as a zombie….one of his dreams…or nightmares. I haven’t seen it and don’t know any place that has it and not really wanting to see except maybe catch a glimpse of my brother….but then again I could just watch Die Hard or Lethal Weapon 4 again to see him….and they are much better and more kick ass movies.

WOW WOW WOW! This will be interesting, kick ass and ROCK! If anyone could pull off “Predators”, Rodriguez can. Even with my doubts about Brody – if RR put him in the film then he will no doubt surprise us.

Great review. This movie was highly underrated in terms of action. I actually liked it better than Aeon Flux (which may not say much) and it featured some amazing action scenes. One reason was that it featured the same hyper-choreographed fight scenes that writer/director Kurt Wimmer used in Equilibrium (Gun Kata).

Wait.I think the cast is good.I mean, Rodriguez just want to avoid all the clichees from these action-movies with their macho-leaders.This will make the movie more interessting (i mean the charachters,developed in the film).Its interesting idea (Rodriguez is Rodrigues , and that’s good). Just have to wait, what will come out.

Ultraviolet is the BEST – I have it on DVD and watch it more times than I can count. Milla really does kick ass and I love the style in which she does it. The library scene is so fine, so cool – she kills everyone with the badies of the Arch-Ministry looking on with a “wtf” look on their faces. You have to love it.

Katrina – BRILLIANT ARTICLE! Now, how can we get Milla to do a sequal?!

One of my all-time favorite bad-good-bad movies, and I’m glad you’ve finally given it the spotlight it deserves. I know you have to pick just one “Best Line”, but I think the moment that really sold the movie for me is during a scene towards the end where the computer scanning her announces “Weapons Found… Many.”

Also, of note… there’s even *less* plot in the theatrical version, which has become fairly hard to find on DVD. From what I read at the time, the film was one or two steps away from being an Alan Smithee project because the studio had to forcibly take production away in order to “finish” it and release it because they felt it had “too much” plot for an action movie. As a result, the movie shrunk from 120 minutes to about 90, and is missing several important scenes that actually make the movie… how can I put this nicely… make sense.
