Coming Attraction: The Book of Eli

Did you know that there is a very special book that holds the secrets to saving our human race? Yep, there is but don’t bother trying to get this book because it’s being protected by Eli (Denzel Washington). I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to mess with Denzel “Man on Fire” Washington. He knows how to kick a lot of butt and hopefully that is what he will do in The Book of Eli. Written by Gary Whitta and directed by the Hughes brothers (Albert and Allen), The Book of Eli is about Eli protecting said sacred book in a post-apocalyptic world. Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis also star in the film. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Washington will kick a lot of butt in this film. It is set to be released next week, January 15, 2010. Check out the trailer.

Dennis Hopper will always be remembered for his great acting. It’s truly sad and a great loss. Not just for the movie industry but in general as he was a man of integrity. His most rememorable movie for me is Hoosiers.
