Joss Whedon of Buffy the freakin’ Vampire Slayer fame is directing this bad boy, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. The cast is absolutely orgasmic featuring Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johanssen) as they face off against all kinds of bad guy shenanigans. Fasten your seat belts and put on your Mark VI armor, The Avengers blasts into theaters May 4, 2012.
